Chauffeur Service at Manchester Airport (MAN)
In 2025, 32.07 million passengers used Manchester Airport, the third-largest in the UK. Terminal 1 has closed, and flights now leave from two terminals: Ryanair from Terminal 3, easyJet, Jet2 and the other airlines from Terminal 2, so give your terminal in the booking and the car goes there. Picking up passengers in the terminal drop-off zones is not allowed; collections take place in the car parks, such as the Terminal 2 West multi-storey.
Manchester city centre is 9 miles north, 30–40 minutes by car. Hyde is 15 miles to the north-east, 30–40 minutes. Liverpool lies 36 miles west, 1 hour 5 minutes to 1 hour 30 minutes. Leeds, on the far side of the Pennines, is 57 miles, 1 hour 15 minutes to 1 hour 40 minutes.
When you fly in, your chauffeur checks the flight status and times the pick-up to when you actually land, and your booking confirmation shows where to meet the chauffeur; the exact spot follows the airport's own pick-up rules. For the flight home, you set the pick-up time yourself, and the confirmation shows it.

Sprinter Van Service at Manchester Airport (MAN)
Touring crews form a Manchester Airport group of their own. Co-op Live, the arena beside the Etihad Stadium that has held concerts since May 2024 for up to 23,500 people, is about 12 miles from the terminals, 35–50 minutes. If a band flies in for a show, its technicians and guests travel with instrument cases, stands and wardrobe trunks. For a crew of that size, a Sprinter van carries up to 12 passengers with their luggage. Put the number of cases into the booking, so the vehicle is matched to the load.
If the party travels on several flights, every arrival gets a transfer of its own. When you book for other people, all their transfers can be kept in one account, each with its own booking and confirmation, so a tour manager sees the whole schedule in one place.
Families and racegoers head south-west instead. Chester, a walled Roman city with a racecourse on the river, is about 34 miles from the airport, 1 hour to 1 hour 25 minutes; in a van, a family's suitcases and pushchairs ride together for the whole drive.

Coach Service at Manchester Airport (MAN)
The G20 leaders' summit is planned for Manchester Central, the convention complex in the city centre, in November 2027. Delegations, officials and the press are expected to land at the airport in the days before it. Coaches come in several sizes with up to 56 seats, and the luggage travels in the hold, so a delegation of forty can travel as one party from the terminal to its hotel.
Coach groups also go further. Stoke-on-Trent is 37 miles south, 1 hour to 1 hour 25 minutes, for school parties visiting the Potteries; Preston is 41 miles north, 1 hour 5 minutes to 1 hour 30 minutes, on the way to the Lancashire coast.
Local vehicles and drivers are booked up early for summit weeks and for the Christmas Markets, which fill the city centre from 6 November to 22 December 2026. Streets around the markets are busy, so send the full address with your booking; the confirmation then tells you where the car will stop. If your plans go beyond a standard booking, write to support with the dates, addresses, number of passengers, flights and luggage, and the team will arrange it.
