Airport Transfers from London Heathrow Airport (LHR) to Raynes Park

One-Way Transfer
A one-way transfer covers one journey between two addresses: Terminal 5 to a flat near Raynes Park station, Terminal 2 to a house by Motspur Park, or your home on the A3 side to Terminal 3 for a red-eye departure. For an arrival, the chauffeur tracks your flight and plans the pick-up around the real landing time; for a departure, you set the pick-up time yourself, and the confirmation shows it.
Round-Trip Service
Round-Trip Service books both directions in one reservation: Terminal 2 to your house off Coombe Lane at the end of a holiday, and back to the same terminal for the next trip abroad. Around Derby weekend and the Wimbledon fortnight, cars in Merton are reserved early. With both directions in one booking, the return is secured from the start; you set both pick-up times yourself, and the confirmation lists them.
Hourly Service
Hourly service keeps one chauffeur and one vehicle with you for a set number of hours. When you book, you set the start at LHR, the final address and the hours you need, and you add the day's plan to the reservation so the chauffeur has it before your flight lands. It suits an arrival day with appointments, not a straight run to one hotel.

London Heathrow Airport to Raynes Park: Route and Drive Time

Raynes Park is a residential district of Merton, in south-west London, between Wimbledon and New Malden. From the Heathrow terminals it is 16 miles, normally 55 minutes to 1 hour 15 minutes by car. The airport sits north of the Thames, so the car crosses the river and then joins the roads of the outer suburbs; the A3, which runs past Raynes Park, is the main road on the district's western side.

The final part depends on the side of the railway you live on. Raynes Park station divides the district, with Coombe Lane running west towards Kingston and the streets to the south leading towards Motspur Park, on the border with New Malden.

Journey times vary with traffic and weather. When you book, include the terminal and the full address with its postcode.

Meeting Your Chauffeur at London Heathrow Airport

Heathrow runs four terminals, numbered 2 to 5. Star Alliance airlines such as Lufthansa, United, Air Canada, Swiss and Singapore Airlines mostly use Terminal 2, which shares a central area with Terminal 3. Give your terminal in the booking and the car goes there.

Heathrow does not allow pick-ups on the terminal forecourts; collections take place from the terminal car parks. Before you take off, the chauffeur tracks your flight and plans the pick-up around the real landing time. Your booking confirmation tells you where to meet, and the exact spot follows the airport's own pick-up rules.

By train, Raynes Park has no simple link to Heathrow: its trains go to Waterloo and Wimbledon, and the railway station under Terminals 2 and 3 has been closed since 25 June 2026. With suitcases, a car from the terminal saves those changes.

Arriving at Your Address in Raynes Park

Raynes Park is mainly residential: houses and flats in side roads, with shops around the station and along Coombe Lane. If you are coming home from a trip or staying with relatives, the address is all the chauffeur needs.

Give the exact address when you book, and your confirmation shows where the car will pull up. Mention a flat number or a side entrance if the building has one, and say if the house is in a cul-de-sac off the A3.

If you land early in the morning after a long-haul flight, the car can drop you at home first; a visit to family in Wimbledon or Kingston later in the day is a separate one-way booking.

From Raynes Park Back to London Heathrow Airport

For the airport run, think in terms of the trip's length: 55 minutes to 1 hour 15 minutes on a normal day, longer on weekday mornings when the A3 and the roads towards the river are busy. You set the pick-up time yourself, and the confirmation shows it.

Tell us the departure terminal. Terminal 5, the British Airways terminal, stands apart at the western end of the airport, and Terminal 4 has its own approach on the southern side.

Two dates in 2027 bring extra traffic close to Raynes Park: Derby Day at Epsom Downs on 5 June, then the tennis at the All England Club between 28 June and 11 July. Book an earlier start on any of those dates.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know before booking your airport transfer with Bookinglane.

How many minutes is Raynes Park from Heathrow by car?

By road, Raynes Park is 16 miles, normally 55 minutes to 1 hour 15 minutes, from the Heathrow terminals. Weekday rush hours on the A3 can add to that, so give the terminal and full address when you book.

What happens if my Heathrow flight is delayed by a few hours?

The chauffeur tracks your flight and plans the pick-up around the real landing time, so the car comes for the new arrival. If the airline rebooks you, enter the new flight number in the booking.

Is there a meeting point in the Heathrow arrivals building?

No. Heathrow does not allow pick-ups on the terminal forecourts; collections take place from the terminal car parks. Your booking confirmation tells you where to meet, and the exact spot follows the airport's own pick-up rules.

Is Raynes Park inside the ULEZ?

Yes. Raynes Park belongs to Merton, one of the London boroughs, and the Ultra Low Emission Zone covers every London borough around the clock. It is outside the central Congestion Charge zone. The rules and current rates of each charge are published by the authority or airport that runs it.

We are six adults with golf bags and suitcases. Is one car enough?

Probably not. Six people with that much luggage fit a Sprinter van, which seats up to 12. Enter the number of bags in the booking form; for golf bags, bikes or other bulky items, tell support so the vehicle is matched to the load.

What do you need to know about London Heathrow Airport in 2026–2027?

Redevelopment shut the Terminal 4 multi-storey on 23 June 2026, so arrivals there are now collected from a dedicated zone next to the terminal. Heathrow has also opened talks with its airlines on a terminal reshuffle; confirm the terminal printed on your ticket before booking.
