Airport Transfers from London Heathrow Airport (LHR) to Chiswick

One-Way Transfer
A one-way transfer covers one journey between two addresses: Terminal 3 to a flat at Strand on the Green, Terminal 2 to a hotel near Turnham Green, or an office at Chiswick Park to Terminal 5 after the last workshop. For arrivals, the chauffeur tracks your flight and plans the pick-up around the real landing time; for a departure, you set the pick-up time yourself, and the confirmation shows it.
Round-Trip Service
Round-Trip Service books both directions in one reservation: Terminal 4 to an office at Chiswick Park on the morning you land, and back to Terminal 4 after the last meeting, or Terminal 5 to a family home near the High Road and back at the end of a visit. In June and the summer holidays, cars around west London are taken early. With both directions in one booking, the return is secured from the start; you set both pick-up times yourself, and the confirmation lists them.
Hourly Service
Hourly service keeps one chauffeur and one vehicle with you for a set number of hours. When you book, you set the start at LHR, the final address and the hours you need, and you add the day's plan to the reservation so the chauffeur has it before your flight lands. It suits an arrival day with appointments, not a straight run to one hotel.

London Heathrow Airport to Chiswick: Route and Drive Time

Chiswick is where the M4 begins, at the Chiswick Roundabout, so the motorway from Heathrow leads almost straight into the district. From the terminals the drive is 11 miles, normally 30–40 minutes, east along the M4 and then onto the A4 Great West Road.

Once you leave the motorway, the address decides the rest. Chiswick Park, the office campus, is next to Chiswick Park station; Chiswick High Road with its shops and restaurants crosses the middle; and Chiswick House, the riverside streets and Strand on the Green lie south of the A4, towards the Thames.

Journey times vary with traffic and weather. For an office, put the building's name in the booking as well as the street and your terminal.

Meeting Your Chauffeur at London Heathrow Airport

Heathrow's four terminals are spread across the site, and each airline group has its usual base: Air France and KLM normally use Terminal 4, and Virgin Atlantic Terminal 3. Those allocations may change, so trust the ticket. Give your terminal in the booking and the car goes there.

Heathrow does not allow pick-ups on the terminal forecourts; collections take place from the terminal car parks. On the day of travel, the chauffeur tracks your flight and plans the pick-up around the real landing time. Your booking confirmation tells you where to meet, and the exact spot follows the airport's own pick-up rules.

Rail from the airport has been harder since 25 June 2026, when the station under Terminals 2 and 3 closed; a car avoids the change of terminal with luggage.

Arriving at Your Address in Chiswick

Chiswick is the eastern corner of Hounslow borough, set in a loop of the river with Hammersmith on one side and Kew on the other. Besides homes and offices, it holds Chiswick House, the 1720s Palladian villa of Lord Burlington, Hogarth's House and the Griffin Brewery by the river.

Give the exact address when you book, and your confirmation shows where the car will pull up. At Chiswick Park, name the building, as the campus has several; for a house in a side road off the High Road, the street and number are enough.

If you arrive for a few days of meetings, the car can go from the terminal to your hotel or straight to the office, depending on the time you land.

From Chiswick Back to London Heathrow Airport

From Chiswick to the terminals allow 30–40 minutes on an ordinary day. The motorway starts close by, but in the weekday peaks the M4 westbound is slow, so leave more time then. You set the pick-up time yourself, and the confirmation shows it.

Name the departure terminal in the booking. Terminals 2 and 3 are in the centre of the airport, Terminal 5 at the western end and Terminal 4 to the south.

If your flight is at the start of the summer holidays or in Royal Ascot week, from 15 to 19 June 2027, the roads west of London are busier than usual, and an earlier pick-up keeps the margin.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know before booking your airport transfer with Bookinglane.

How far is Chiswick from Heathrow by car?

Chiswick is 11 miles from the terminals, normally 30–40 minutes along the M4, which ends at the Chiswick Roundabout. A terminal and a postcode are all the booking needs.

Our plane may reach Heathrow ahead of or behind schedule. Is that a problem?

The pick-up follows the actual arrival: the chauffeur tracks your flight and plans the pick-up around the real landing time. Landing ahead of schedule works the same way as landing behind it; just check that the flight number you entered is correct.

Which part of Heathrow will I be collected from?

From the car park of your terminal, as Heathrow does not allow pick-ups on the terminal forecourts; collections take place from the terminal car parks. Your booking confirmation tells you where to meet, and the exact spot follows the airport's own pick-up rules.

Which stations serve Chiswick?

Two District line stations, Turnham Green and Chiswick Park, serve the district, while Chiswick station is on the South Western route into Waterloo. For a pick-up at one of them, name the station; add the train and its arrival time to the booking, and the car is scheduled for that arrival.

A team of 16 is coming for workshops at Chiswick Park. What should we book?

Sixteen travellers exceed a single van's 12 seats. Choose a coach, or split the team between two vans, and enter cases and equipment too. Anyone landing separately is booked on a separate transfer under the same account.

What do you need to know about London Heathrow Airport in 2026–2027?

The Terminal 4 parking block was closed on 23 June 2026; collections there use a dedicated area or Park & Ride instead. Heathrow's public consultation on expansion is planned for 27 October to 22 December 2026.
