Airport Transfers from Frankfurt Airport (FRA) to Wiesbaden

One-Way Transfer
A one-way transfer covers one journey between two addresses: Terminal 1 to the RMCC, Terminal 3 to a ministry in the city centre, or a spa-quarter hotel back to FRA for a morning departure. For arrivals, the chauffeur tracks your flight and plans the pickup around the real landing time; for a departure, you set the pickup time yourself, and the confirmation shows it.
Round-Trip Service
Round-Trip Service books both directions in one reservation: from Terminal 1 or 3 to a hotel near the Kurhaus or the RMCC, and back to the airport when the congress or the official visit ends. For a delegate whose congress dates and flights are fixed months in advance, both journeys can be in place long before the event. With both directions in one booking, the return is secured from the start; you set both pickup times yourself, and the confirmation lists them.
Hourly Service
Hourly service keeps one chauffeur and one vehicle with you for a set number of hours. When you book, you set the start at FRA, the final address and the hours you need, and you add the day's plan to the reservation so the chauffeur has it before your flight lands. It suits an arrival day with appointments, not a straight run to one hotel.

Frankfurt Airport to Wiesbaden: Route and Drive Time

Wiesbaden lies west of the airport, between the Rhine and the wooded Taunus slopes. The transfer runs for 29 km on the A3 and then the A66, normally 35–45 minutes, and the A66 is the stretch where commuter traffic at either end of the working day adds time. At Wiesbaden the A66 crosses the Salzbachtalbrücke, which has two lanes in each direction since its northern bridge opened on 1 August 2025.

The A66 leads straight towards the centre, and the addresses there are close together. The RheinMain CongressCenter (RMCC) is five minutes' walk from the Hauptbahnhof, the Kurhaus with its casino and halls is a short way north, and the hotels of the spa quarter sit around both.

Journey times vary with traffic and weather. For the RMCC or the Kurhaus, name the venue and, if you know it, the entrance used for your event.

Meeting Your Chauffeur at Frankfurt Airport

At FRA, passengers arrive at Terminal 1 or Terminal 3; the second opened in April 2026 with a yearly capacity of 19 million, and Terminal 2 has been closed since June 2026. The SkyLine train links the two terminals in about eight minutes. Give your terminal in the booking and the car goes there.

From take-off onwards, the chauffeur tracks your flight and plans the pickup around the real landing time. Your booking confirmation tells you where to meet, and the exact spot follows the airport's own pickup rules.

That works in both directions. A flight that lands twenty minutes early with a tailwind does not leave you standing around, and one that is held on the ground at its origin does not cost you the car: either way, the pickup is set by the moment you actually land.

Arriving at Your Address in Wiesbaden

Wiesbaden is the capital of Hesse, and visitors come for government business, congresses and the spa town itself. The RMCC, at Friedrich-Ebert-Allee 1, can take events of up to 12,500 people; the Kurhaus, a few minutes away, hosts conferences and gala evenings as well as its casino. Convention Wiesbaden runs both venues.

The city has had a low-emission zone (Umweltzone) since 1 February 2013, and vehicles in it need the green sticker. Central hotels and congress venues are within its boundary, which poses no problem for a car with the right sticker. Across the Rhine, Mainz lifted its own zone on 1 October 2025.

Give the exact address when you book, and your confirmation shows where the car will pull up. For a ministry, add the building and the visitor entrance from your invitation.

From Wiesbaden Back to Frankfurt Airport

Work back from the drive time, not from a fixed hour: 35–45 minutes from Wiesbaden to the terminal when the A66 flows freely, and longer in commuter hours. You set the pickup time yourself, and the confirmation shows it.

At FRA, the car heads for Terminal 1 or Terminal 3, as given in your booking.

Two seasons fill the city centre. The Rheingauer Weinwoche brings wine stands to the streets in mid-August, and the Sternschnuppenmarkt, Wiesbaden's Christmas market, runs from late November to 23 December. On those days, a pickup from a hotel near the market takes longer to leave the centre. A congress speaker can also be collected at the RMCC straight after the session; the Hauptbahnhof is five minutes away on foot from there.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know before booking your airport transfer with Bookinglane.

Which long-distance trains stop at Wiesbaden Hauptbahnhof?

ICE line 45 runs from Stuttgart via Mainz and Wiesbaden to Cologne, and ICE line 50 from Wiesbaden via Frankfurt to Erfurt, Leipzig and Dresden. The airport's own long-distance station is next to Terminal 1.

Can I use the parking garage at the RMCC in Wiesbaden?

The public garage has 800 spaces and is open around the clock, entered from Friedrich-Ebert-Allee, with a maximum height of 2.10 m. A transfer car is better dropped at the entrance, so name the entrance in the booking.

When are the Rheingauer Weinwoche and the Sternschnuppenmarkt in Wiesbaden?

The Weinwoche takes place every year in mid-August, and the Sternschnuppenmarkt runs from late November to 23 December (24 November to 23 December in 2026). Plan for crowds in the centre in the middle of August 2027.

Can the car drive into Wiesbaden's low-emission zone?

Yes. Entry needs the green sticker, which the zone has required since 1 February 2013, and a transfer car meets that rule. Give the exact address when you book, and your confirmation shows where the car will pull up.

Is the Nerobergbahn a good way to reach the Neroberg?

The Nerobergbahn, opened in 1888, is a water-ballast funicular with two cars of 50 passengers each and a ride of about 3.5 minutes. Its valley station is at Wilhelminenstraße 51; name it in the booking if your group meets there.

What do you need to know about Frankfurt Airport in 2026–2027?

Condor is due in Terminal 3 in 2027; the ticket shows which terminal applies to you. In Wiesbaden, the A66 Salzbachtalbrücke has run on two lanes in each direction since 1 August 2025.
