Cologne Bonn Airport to Siegburg: Route and Drive Time
Siegburg lies south-east of the airport, on the far side of the Wahner Heide, and the road there is short. The car joins the A59 and then the A560 towards the Sieg valley: 19 km in all, usually 30–40 minutes. The morning rush on the A59 is the main reason a trip ends up at the longer figure.
The district town of the Rhein-Sieg-Kreis is compact, so the last kilometre is decided by where you are staying. The former Benedictine abbey sits on the Michaelsberg, a volcanic hill above the old town, and a hotel up there is reached by its own access road. Below the hill, the Holzgasse is closed to cars, and the ICE station Siegburg/Bonn is a separate address again.
Journey times vary with traffic and weather. When you book, name the hotel, the street or the station entrance rather than just the town.

Meeting Your Chauffeur at Cologne Bonn Airport
CGN has two passenger terminals side by side. Terminal 1 is used chiefly by Eurowings and Lufthansa, Terminal 2 by Ryanair and a number of other carriers, and a landside walkway of about ten minutes links them. Your ticket names the building, so give your terminal in the booking and the car goes there.
For arrivals, the chauffeur tracks your flight and plans the pickup around the real landing time. Your booking confirmation tells you where to meet, and the exact spot follows the airport's own pickup rules.
Holiday routes and city links share the timetable: in 2025, demand at CGN was strongest for Antalya, Palma de Mallorca, Istanbul and London. Whether you come back from a beach week or a day of meetings in London, enter the flight number when booking; the chauffeur then follows that very arrival.

Arriving at Your Address in Siegburg
The old town at the foot of the Michaelsberg is where the walking starts. The Holzgasse is a pedestrian street, so if your hotel or meeting is in the lanes around it, send the full address with the booking and we will tell you how close the car can go.
Higher up, the abbey has given the hill its outline for centuries, and a conference hotel now works on the Michaelsberg; the car follows the access road to the entrance. In the town, the Stadtmuseum occupies the house where the composer Engelbert Humperdinck was born, a useful landmark.
The ICE station is the third kind of destination. ICE trains on the high-speed line between Cologne and Frankfurt call at Siegburg/Bonn, so a traveller continuing by rail may prefer to board there. Name the station as your address and the car takes you to its forecourt.

From Siegburg Back to Cologne Bonn Airport
The return leg is a matter of drive length rather than of the hour on the clock: count 30–40 minutes from the old town or the station forecourt to the terminal, and more if the A59 is jammed in the morning. You set the pickup time yourself, and the confirmation shows it.
At the airport, check which of the two buildings your airline uses before you book. A Eurowings or Lufthansa departure normally leaves from Terminal 1, a Ryanair flight from Terminal 2, and the car drops you at the one you name.
Siegburg's own calendar is quiet, but the region's big weeks spill over. When Anuga fills the Koelnmesse from 9 to 13 October 2027, hotels in Siegburg take fair guests, and the airport road carries more traffic at the start and end of each day.
