Getting Around Fredericton
Fredericton is the capital of New Brunswick, and much of its official life runs along Queen Street. The Legislative Assembly Building at 706 Queen Street has been the seat of the provincial government since 1882, and the Fredericton Convention Centre, on the same street at number 670, offers 36,000 sq ft of meeting space in the heart of downtown.
The city lies on the Wolastoq, or Saint John River, which at 673 km is the longest river in eastern Canada. Just outside the downtown core is the original campus of the University of New Brunswick, founded in 1785, with about 7,500 students.
For a working day that runs from a meeting with a provincial department to lunch on Queen Street and a session at the university, hourly chauffeur service is a good match: one chauffeur and one vehicle stay with you for the time you reserve. Government buildings and campus residences have their own entrances: send the full address with your booking; the confirmation then tells you where the car will stop.

Airport Transfers in Fredericton
Fredericton International Airport is 16 km from downtown, usually 20–25 minutes by car. Passenger numbers rose 4.4% in 2025 over 2024. The airport's 2025 service update listed Air Canada flights to Montréal and Toronto, Porter to Ottawa and seasonal WestJet flights to Calgary. Book with your flight number. For an arrival, your chauffeur checks the flight status and times the pickup to when you actually land, and your booking confirmation shows where to meet the chauffeur.
Two other airports are within driving range. Saint John Airport is 135 km away, 1 hour 30 minutes to 2 hours, and Moncton's airport 188 km, 1 hour 55 minutes to 2 hours 35 minutes. The right one depends on your airline and route. None of the three has US preclearance, so travellers to the US clear customs on arrival there.
For a departure from Fredericton, what counts is the length of the drive, not the time on the clock: 20–25 minutes to your own terminal, but close to two hours to Saint John. Journey times vary with traffic and weather. You set the pickup time yourself, and the confirmation shows it.

Long-Distance & Multi-City Travel from Fredericton
Saint John is 112 km down the river valley, 1 hour 15 minutes to 1 hour 40 minutes. Moncton is 176 km east on Route 2, the Trans-Canada Highway, 1 hour 50 minutes to 2 hours 30 minutes; its station is the nearest one for the VIA Rail Ocean train. Fundy's Hopewell Rocks lie 216 km away, 2 hours 20 minutes to 3 hours 10 minutes, and their 2026 season ends on 25 October.
Prince Edward Island is a longer day: Cavendish is 335 km and Charlottetown 344 km, both 3 hours 45 minutes to 5 hours 5 minutes, with the 12.9 km Confederation Bridge as the last stretch. Halifax is 438 km, 4 hours 25 minutes to 6 hours. For trips of this length, a car from your door to your hotel saves the connection between a bus or train and a local ride, and your luggage stays in one vehicle the whole way.

Groups & Congress Travel in Fredericton
The Fredericton Convention Centre puts 36,000 sq ft of meeting space within walking distance of the Legislature and the downtown hotels. Every September the Harvest Music Festival, formerly Harvest Jazz & Blues, spreads over dozens of stages downtown; the 2027 edition runs from 14 to 19 September.
When you book for other people, all their transfers can be kept in one account, each with its own booking and confirmation. If conference speakers come in on several flights, every arrival gets a transfer of its own. For a group travelling together, a Sprinter van carries up to 12 people with their bags, and bigger groups go by coach, with up to 56 seats; the vehicle is matched to the load, from musicians with instruments to a university team with exhibition material.
Festival week in September and the start of the university term are the dates to watch: local vehicles and drivers are booked up early for them. If your plans go beyond a standard booking, write to support with the dates, addresses, number of passengers, flights and luggage, and the team will arrange it.
