Airport Transfers from Montréal–Trudeau International Airport (YUL) to Laval

One-Way Transfer
A one-way transfer covers one journey between two addresses: the international section to an office near Montmorency station, the US jetty to Place Bell, the domestic section to a home in Sainte-Dorothée. For an arrival, the chauffeur tracks your flight and plans the pickup around the real landing time. Your booking confirmation tells you where to meet, and the exact spot follows the airport's own pickup rules.
Round-Trip Service
Round-Trip Service books both directions in one reservation: from Trudeau to a hotel in Centropolis on arrival day, then on the last day to whichever section of Trudeau your departing flight uses. For a team in town for a game at Place Bell, the ride back to the airport is settled before the first faceoff. With both directions in one booking, the return is secured from the start; you set both pickup times yourself, and the confirmation lists them.
Hourly Service
Hourly service keeps one chauffeur and one vehicle with you for a set number of hours. When you book, you set the start at YUL, the final address and the hours you need, and you add the day's plan to the reservation so the chauffeur has it before your flight lands. It suits an arrival day with appointments, not a straight run to one hotel.

Montréal–Trudeau International Airport to Laval: Route and Drive Time

Laval lies north of the island of Montreal, across the Rivière des Prairies. From the terminal in Dorval, the car heads out on Autoroutes 520 and 15, and the trip to Laval covers 21 km, usually 25–35 minutes.

The bridges over the Rivière des Prairies are where the drive can slow down: at the morning and evening peaks, traffic between Montreal and Laval builds on them. Journey times vary with traffic and weather.

Once across the river, the A-15 runs past the main addresses on the Laval side: Centropolis, the office and leisure district by Montmorency metro station, and Carrefour Laval, at the A-440 interchange in Chomedey.

Meeting Your Chauffeur at Montréal–Trudeau International Airport

Trudeau has a single terminal building split into a domestic section, an international section and the jetty used by flights from the United States. You enter the public area from the section where your plane parked, which is why the booking asks for your flight number rather than a terminal name.

For arrivals, the chauffeur tracks your flight and plans the pickup around the real landing time. Your booking confirmation tells you where to meet, and the exact spot follows the airport's own pickup rules.

After a long-haul flight, baggage and Canadian customs can take a while on a busy evening. Because the pickup moves with your landing time, nobody needs to guess when you will come out.

Arriving at Your Address in Laval

Centropolis sits between boulevard Daniel-Johnson, avenue du Cosmodôme, boulevard Saint-Martin Ouest and the A-15, with offices, restaurants and hotels side by side. Montmorency, at the end of the orange metro line, is close by, and De la Concorde train station is the nearest stop for commuter trains.

Place Bell hosts the AHL's Laval Rocket and, from 2024 on, the PWHL's Montréal Victoire; its main arena seats 10,000 and turns into a concert hall between games. On a game or concert night, expect crowds around the building.

Give the exact address when you book, and your confirmation shows where the car will pull up. For a large complex, add the entrance you need.

From Laval Back to Montréal–Trudeau International Airport

Heading back, the drive itself is what to plan around: 25–35 minutes on an ordinary day, longer when the river crossings are congested at rush hour. You set the pickup time yourself, and the confirmation shows it.

The car drops you at the section of your departure. Flights to the United States board at the US jetty, and Trudeau has US preclearance. With US preclearance, you clear US customs before boarding a flight to the US, so leave time for it inside the terminal.

Rail is not yet a real alternative from Laval. Since 17 November 2025, the REM has served Sainte-Dorothée and Île-Bigras on its Deux-Montagnes branch, but that branch does not run to Dorval, and the airport station is not due before the end of 2027.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know before booking your airport transfer with Bookinglane.

Can my pet travel with me from Montréal–Trudeau to Laval?

Yes, if you select the pet option when booking. All pets must be in a crate or carrier.

Can I ask for a quiet ride from Montréal–Trudeau to Laval?

A quiet ride can be selected in the booking form.

My flight into Montréal–Trudeau is late: does the pickup for Laval still work?

Yes. The chauffeur follows your flight, so the pickup follows the actual landing. Complimentary waiting time is included with airport pickups and is counted from the actual landing, which leaves room for customs and baggage claim.

Can I take the REM from the airport to Laval?

Not yet. The REM reaches Laval at Sainte-Dorothée and Île-Bigras on its Deux-Montagnes branch, but no REM station serves the terminal before the end of 2027, and even then the trip would need a change of line.

Can a hockey team travel from YUL to Place Bell with its equipment?

Yes. Enter the number of bags in the booking form; for equipment bags, sticks or other bulky items, tell support so the vehicle is matched to the load. A Sprinter van carries up to 12 people with their bags, and bigger groups go by coach, with up to 56 seats.

What do you need to know about Montréal–Trudeau International Airport in 2026–2027?

The airport's REM station is planned for the end of 2027, beneath the rebuilt multi-level parking garage, and the wider expansion of the airport runs until about 2030. In Laval, two REM stations have been open since November 2025.
