Airport Transfers from Eindhoven Airport (EIN) to Eindhoven

One-Way Transfer
A one-way transfer covers one journey between two addresses: the terminal to a hotel beside Eindhoven Centraal, the airport to the Evoluon for a conference, or an office at Strijp-S back to your flight. For arrivals, the chauffeur tracks your flight and plans the pickup around the real landing time. For a departure, the pickup time you choose is confirmed with the reservation.
Round-Trip Service
Round-Trip Service books both directions in one reservation: the terminal to your hotel in the centre when you land, and the hotel back to Eindhoven Airport on your last morning. During Dutch Design Week in October, when the whole city hosts exhibitions and visitors, the sensible order is to fix the return at the same time as the arrival. You choose both pickup times, and your confirmation shows them.
Hourly Service
Hourly service keeps one chauffeur and one vehicle with you for a set number of hours. When you book, you set the start at EIN, the final address and the hours you need, and you add the day's plan to the reservation so the chauffeur has it before your flight lands. It suits an arrival day with appointments, not a straight run to one hotel.

Eindhoven Airport to Eindhoven: Route and Drive Time

The city centre lies 9 km east of Eindhoven Airport. There is no motorway section on this route: the car uses the ring road and city streets, and the drive usually takes 12–20 minutes.

With a distance this short, the ring is what sets the time, not the kilometres. Outside rush hour the run is quick; at the morning and evening peaks the junctions on the ring decide when you arrive. Where you are going matters as well. Strijp-S and the High Tech Campus lie on the western and south-western side of the city, the same side as the airport, and the centre around the station and the Markt comes after them.

Journey times vary with traffic and weather. Give the full street address rather than simply the city, so the booking reflects the right part of Eindhoven.

Meeting Your Chauffeur at Eindhoven Airport

The terminal opens at 04:30 and closes at 23:00, so a late-evening flight is the last arrival of the day. All flights use the one terminal building, which is being extended, and passengers leave through a single arrivals area.

For arrivals, the chauffeur tracks your flight and plans the pickup around the real landing time. Your booking confirmation tells you where to meet, and the exact spot follows the airport's own pickup rules. On a 9 km run into town, that adjustment is most of the planning.

A notice for 2027: the Ministry of Defence will renovate the runway shared with the air base, and Eindhoven Airport will have no flights from February until its planned reopening on 19 July 2027. Pickups at EIN are not possible in those months. Each airline chooses its own alternative airport, so look at the ticket and book the transfer to Eindhoven from the airport it names.

Arriving at Your Address in Eindhoven

Much of the city's business happens away from the centre. The High Tech Campus, with about 260 companies, is on the south-western edge. Strijp-S, the old Philips site west of the centre, now has offices, event halls and a rail halt of its own, and the Evoluon, a domed conference venue for up to 1,500 guests, is near the campus. Hotels cluster in the small city centre, near Stratumseind and the Markt.

Eindhoven intends to bring in an environmental zone for older diesel cars on 1 January 2027, following a council decision in June 2026.

Give the exact address when you book, and your confirmation shows where the car will pull up. On a campus with many buildings, add the building name or number to the booking.

From Eindhoven Back to Eindhoven Airport

Leaving Eindhoven, the useful thing to know is how long the road takes, not when to leave: 12–20 minutes to the terminal, longer in heavy traffic. The pickup time you choose is confirmed with the reservation.

On the way out, as on the way in, the ring road causes most of the variation. With the terminal opening at 04:30, the first departures of the morning mean an early pickup from a hotel in the centre. Every airline uses that one building for departures, and your airline makes no difference to where the car pulls up.

If the trip ends by train rather than by air, a one-way transfer from your hotel or office to Eindhoven Centraal is booked in the same way.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know before booking your airport transfer with Bookinglane.

How long is the drive from Eindhoven Airport to the city centre?

The airport lies 9 km west of the centre. The car uses the ring road and city streets, with no motorway, and the drive usually takes 12–20 minutes; rush hour on the ring makes most of the difference.

Can I go straight from the airport to the High Tech Campus?

Yes. It lies in the south-west of Eindhoven, the same side of town as the airport. Add the building name or number to the booking, and your confirmation shows where the car will pull up.

What are the opening hours of Eindhoven Airport?

The terminal is open from 04:30 to 23:00 and closed at night. For an early departure, choose a pickup time that fits the 12–20 minute drive from the centre; it is confirmed with the reservation.

Should I fly into Eindhoven or Schiphol for a stay in Eindhoven?

Eindhoven Airport is 9 km from the city, Schiphol 129 km, a drive of 1 hour 45 minutes to 2 hours 20 minutes. Book the airport your flight uses; long-haul journeys usually come through Schiphol, and a transfer from there to Eindhoven is one booking.

Our team is coming for Dutch Design Week. How should we book?

Book each flight as its own arrival, and tell us about exhibition crates or equipment so the vehicle suits the load. Vehicles in October go early, so fix the dates as soon as the programme is set.

Is a chauffeur service from Eindhoven Airport to Eindhoven the same as a taxi?

Dutch law treats paid passenger transport by car as taxi transport, chauffeur services booked in advance included; above eight passengers, the rules for private coach transport apply. What differs is the arrangement: the ride is booked before you travel instead of taken at a taxi rank, the vehicle and time are settled when you book, and your confirmation says where to meet. On an airport pickup the chauffeur tracks your flight and plans the pickup around the real landing time.
