Getting Around Breuil-Cervinia
Breuil-Cervinia sits at the head of the Valtournenche, and during the ski day the lifts do the travelling: the new gondola from the village reaches Plateau Rosa in about 17 minutes, and the ski area, Cervino Ski Paradise, is shared with Valtournenche and Zermatt. The car matters at the start and end of the stay, and in the evenings.
The nearest station is Châtillon-Saint-Vincent, 29 km down the valley. From there the SR46 is the way up, so with skis and suitcases a car from the platform to the hotel is the simple option. Add the train and its arrival time to the booking, and the car is scheduled for that arrival.
Valtournenche is 9 km below the resort and Châtillon 30 km. Booked by the hour, one chauffeur and one vehicle stay with you for the time you reserve, which covers a dinner lower in the valley.
Put the full hotel address in the booking; we check it and let you know how near the hotel the car can stop.

Airport Transfers to Breuil-Cervinia
Turin Airport is the closest, 121 km away, and the whole route stays in Italy: the A5 up the Aosta Valley, then the SR46 from Châtillon, about 1 hour 40 minutes to 2 hours 15 minutes. Milan Malpensa is 184 km, about 2 hours 20 minutes to 3 hours 10 minutes on the A4 and A5. Geneva, 192 km, is the long option: the road goes through the Mont Blanc tunnel and France, about 2 hours 45 minutes to 3 hours 45 minutes. Which one suits you depends on where your airline flies from.
Journey times vary with traffic and weather. The motorway gets you to Châtillon; the climb on the SR46 is where snow can add time.
For arrivals, your chauffeur checks the flight status and times the pickup to when you actually land, and your booking confirmation shows where to meet the chauffeur. For a departure from Breuil-Cervinia, what counts is the length of the drive, not the time on the clock: 1 hour 40 minutes to 2 hours 15 minutes to Turin, 2 hours 20 minutes to 3 hours 10 minutes to Malpensa, longer on snowy days. You set the pickup time yourself, and the confirmation shows it.

Long-Distance & Cross-Border Travel from Breuil-Cervinia
A ski week here often pairs with a city: Turin is 119 km away and Milan 191 km, both by the A5. If you are moving on to another resort, Courmayeur is 88 km up the Aosta Valley. In each case the car goes from one hotel to the next in a single booking, with the skis and luggage in the same vehicle.
The road to Geneva, 187 km, goes under Mont Blanc and across a stretch of France. The trip runs with the same chauffeur and car from start to finish, with no change of vehicle at the border.
As Switzerland is not in the EU customs union, customs rules apply at the Swiss border. Have with you the travel documents that your nationality and itinerary require.

Groups, Equipment & Winter Road Travel in Breuil-Cervinia
For a ski group, boot bags and ski cases weigh as much in the choice of vehicle as the number of people: list them when you book, and we choose the vehicle to fit. A Sprinter van carries up to 12 people with their bags, and bigger groups go by coach, with up to 56 seats. If people fly in on different days or flights, every arrival gets a transfer of its own.
In the Aosta Valley the winter-equipment period starts a month earlier than in much of Italy: on signed roads, cars must have winter tyres fitted or carry chains between 15 October and 15 April. For Breuil-Cervinia that covers the last 30 km, from Châtillon up the SR46, for almost the whole ski season.
For the winter, reserve well ahead: local vehicles and drivers are booked up early. If your plans go beyond a standard booking, write to support with the dates, addresses, number of passengers, flights and luggage, and the team will arrange it.
