Airport Transfers from Turin Airport (TRN) to Breuil-Cervinia

One-Way Transfer
A one-way transfer covers one journey between two addresses: the Caselle terminal to a hotel near the gondola in Breuil-Cervinia, the airport to an apartment in Valtournenche, or the resort back to Turin Airport on the morning you fly home. For arrivals, the chauffeur tracks your flight and plans the pickup around the real landing time. For a departure, the pickup time you choose is confirmed with the reservation.
Round-Trip Service
Round-Trip Service books both directions in one reservation: Turin Airport up to Breuil-Cervinia when you land, and the resort back to Caselle when the week is over. The lifts run from late October to early May, a long season, and the weeks around the holidays fill first, so book the return drive at the same time. You choose both pickup times, and your confirmation shows them.
Hourly Service
Hourly service keeps one chauffeur and one vehicle with you for a set number of hours. When you book, you set the start at TRN, the final address and the hours you need, and you add the day's plan to the reservation so the chauffeur has it before your flight lands. It suits an arrival day with appointments, not a straight run to one hotel.

Turin Airport to Breuil-Cervinia: Route and Drive Time

Breuil-Cervinia is 121 km from Turin Airport, and the route has two parts. The first is the A5 motorway from the Turin area up the Aosta Valley to the Châtillon exit, fast and wide. The second is the SR46, the regional road that climbs the Valtournenche for about 30 km to the resort at the head of the valley. The whole drive usually takes 1 hour 40 minutes to 2 hours 15 minutes.

The SR46 decides the arrival time. It is a mountain road through the villages of the valley, and after snowfall or on the busy days of the ski season it moves slowly. The A5 seldom causes delays by comparison.

Journey times vary with traffic and weather. Name the hotel or residence when you reserve, not only the flight: the resort spreads along the road below the lifts, and the address decides the final approach.

Meeting Your Chauffeur at Turin Airport

Everything happens on one level at Caselle for arriving passengers. The single terminal has arrivals and the baggage belts on the ground floor, departures upstairs, and only one exit for people who have landed. A group on one flight therefore comes out together.

For arrivals, the chauffeur tracks your flight and plans the pickup around the real landing time. Your booking confirmation tells you where to meet, and the exact spot follows the airport's own pickup rules. Skis and boot bags can take longer to reach the belt than suitcases; the pickup follows the landing, and the chauffeur sees the flight as it arrives.

In winter the airport sees many parties heading to the mountains at the same hour. If your group has a lot of equipment, send the list with the booking, so the vehicle is sized before the flight.

Arriving at Your Hotel in Breuil-Cervinia

Breuil-Cervinia sits at the top of the Valtournenche, at the foot of the Matterhorn. Its lifts belong to Cervino Ski Paradise, a ski domain linked with Valtournenche and, over the ridge, with Zermatt, and since the new gondola opened, Plateau Rosa is about 17 minutes from the village. Many guests choose a hotel close to the lift station for that reason.

Hotels and apartments line the road through the village and the slopes above it. For an apartment reached by a side road, or a chalet with a steep drive, send the owner's directions. In heavy snow the drop-off may be at the road rather than the door.

Give the exact address when you book, and your confirmation shows where the car will pull up. If some of the group come by rail, they arrive at Châtillon-Saint-Vincent, 29 km lower, the closest station to the resort.

From Breuil-Cervinia Back to Turin Airport

Leaving Breuil-Cervinia, the useful thing to know is how long the road takes, not when to leave: 1 hour 40 minutes to 2 hours 15 minutes to Turin Airport, longer in heavy traffic. The pickup time you choose is confirmed with the reservation.

The first half hour is the descent on the SR46 to Châtillon, and that is where a snowy morning adds time; the A5 to Turin follows. Caselle has a single terminal, so you only need to choose the time.

If the ski week continues with a few days in the city, Turin is 119 km from the resort and Aosta 54 km, and the drop-off can be a hotel in either instead of the airport.

Breuil-Cervinia is 121 km from Turin Airport: the A5 motorway to Châtillon, then about 30 km on the SR46. The drive usually takes 1 hour 40 minutes to 2 hours 15 minutes, and more after snowfall.

Which airport is the most convenient for Cervinia?

Turin Airport is the nearest, 121 km away. Milan Malpensa is 184 km and Geneva 192 km. Choose Turin when your airline flies there; Malpensa suits long-haul flights.

Are winter tyres or chains needed on the road to Cervinia?

Yes. The Aosta Valley rule runs from 15 October to 15 April on signed roads: winter tyres or chains carried in the car. It starts four weeks before the usual Italian date.

Where will the car set us down in Breuil-Cervinia?

At your hotel or apartment address. Send it with the booking, plus any directions for side roads or private drives, and we confirm where the car will stop, especially after heavy snow.

Is there a train from Turin to Cervinia?

Not to the resort itself. Trains stop at Châtillon-Saint-Vincent, which leaves 29 km of mountain road to cover. A car from Turin Airport goes straight to the hotel without a change.

Our ski group has a lot of equipment. Which vehicle do we need?

Send the number of people and the equipment list. Sprinter vans seat up to 12 passengers with luggage, and coaches are available in several sizes up to 56; skis and boards are counted when the vehicle is chosen.
