Airport Transfers from Milan Malpensa Airport (MXP) to Turin

One-Way Transfer
A one-way transfer covers one journey between two addresses: Terminal 1 to a hotel facing Porta Nuova station, Terminal 2 to an apartment in the Quadrilatero, or Lingotto Fiere to Malpensa for an intercontinental departure. For arrivals, the chauffeur tracks your flight and plans the pickup around the real landing time. For a departure, the pickup time you choose is confirmed with the reservation.
Round-Trip Service
Round-Trip Service books both directions in one reservation: Malpensa to your Turin hotel after a long-haul flight, and the reverse run when the programme in Turin is over. In November, during the Nitto ATP Finals, and in May, with the book fair at Lingotto, book the return drive when you book the arrival. You choose both pickup times, and your confirmation shows them.
Hourly Service
Hourly service keeps one chauffeur and one vehicle with you for a set number of hours. When you book, you set the start at MXP, the final address and the hours you need, and you add the day's plan to the reservation so the chauffeur has it before your flight lands. It suits an arrival day with appointments, not a straight run to one hotel.

Malpensa to Turin: Route and Drive Time

Turin is 136 km south-west of Malpensa. The car takes the SS336dir to the A4, then follows the motorway west past Novara and Vercelli, across the rice fields of the Po plain, into Turin. The drive usually takes 1 hour 35 minutes to 2 hours 10 minutes.

On this route the long motorway section is steady, and the variation comes at both ends: the junctions near Milan's western edge at the start, and the ring road and city streets of Turin at the finish. Hotels near Porta Susa, on the side the car arrives from, come first; Lingotto, in the south of the city, is a few kilometres further.

Journey times vary with traffic and weather. Send the street address as well as the flight; in Turin, the hotel, the fair and the arena can sit in three different districts.

Meeting Your Chauffeur at Malpensa

Turin has its own airport, so a Malpensa arrival for Turin is usually a long-haul flight or a route Caselle does not have. Those flights use Terminal 1, which handles most airlines; easyJet uses Terminal 2, 4 km away. The two terminals have separate arrivals halls, so give the terminal on your ticket when you book, and the car goes there.

For arrivals, the chauffeur tracks your flight and plans the pickup around the real landing time. Your booking confirmation tells you where to meet, and the exact spot follows the airport's own pickup rules. With more than two hours of road still to come, that matters after a long flight with a connection.

In the non-Schengen part of Terminal 1 an extension is under way, reported to finish in 2028. Some internal routes are blocked off meanwhile, while the arrivals halls keep working.

Arriving at Your Address in Turin

Turin's historic core sits inside the ZTL Centrale, a camera-watched zone that is active on weekday mornings, and some areas inside have stricter hours. Hotels around Piazza Castello and Via Roma are inside it; send the address with the booking and we will tell you how close the car can go.

Much of Turin's business travel goes to Lingotto Fiere, about 6 km south of Piazza Castello. It offers about 100,000 m² of space, including the Oval built for the 2006 Winter Olympics. The Inalpi Arena, home of the November tennis Finals, is roughly 5 km out.

Give the exact address when you book, and your confirmation shows where the car will pull up. The two main stations are Porta Nuova and Porta Susa, if you prefer to meet colleagues arriving by train.

From Turin Back to Malpensa

Leaving Turin, the useful thing to know is how long the road takes, not when to leave: 1 hour 35 minutes to 2 hours 10 minutes to Malpensa, longer in heavy traffic. The pickup time you choose is confirmed with the reservation.

The approach to Malpensa on the A4 and SS336dir is where time can build up on weekday afternoons. Tell us your terminal: Terminal 1 for long-haul flights and most carriers, Terminal 2 for easyJet. The car then goes directly to that terminal's departures.

If the trip ends with a few days in Milan, 143 km from Turin, the drive can go to your Milan hotel instead, and a later transfer takes you to the airport from there.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know before booking your airport transfer with Bookinglane.

How long is the transfer from Malpensa to Turin?

Turin is 136 km from Malpensa by road, almost all of it on the A4 motorway. The drive usually takes 1 hour 35 minutes to 2 hours 10 minutes, depending on traffic at the Milan and Turin ends.

Why fly into Malpensa for Turin instead of Turin Airport?

Caselle, 17 km north of the city, is the easier choice when your flight lands there. Malpensa suits long-haul flights and routes Caselle does not offer.

Can you take us from Malpensa straight to Lingotto Fiere?

Yes. Give Lingotto Fiere as the destination; it lies in the south of Turin, about 6 km beyond the centre. To go on to your hotel afterwards, book that leg as a separate transfer.

My hotel is in the centre of Turin. Can the car reach it?

The old core lies inside the ZTL Centrale. Tell us the hotel and street when you reserve, and we confirm whether the car can reach the entrance or where the nearest drop-off point is.

We are coming for the ATP Finals. When should we book?

As soon as you have tickets. The tournament takes place in November, and local vehicles and drivers are committed well ahead for that week, from Malpensa and from Caselle.

Which Malpensa terminal do I arrive at?

If you fly easyJet, Terminal 2; on any other airline, and on every long-haul flight, Terminal 1. The terminals are 4 km apart, so give the one on your ticket when you book.
