Airport Transfers from Milan Bergamo Airport (BGY) to Monza

One-Way Transfer
A one-way transfer covers one journey between two addresses: BGY to a hotel in the old centre of Monza, the terminal to the park entrance named on your race ticket, or an office in Monza back to the airport for an evening flight. For arrivals, the chauffeur tracks your flight and plans the pickup around the real landing time. For a departure, the pickup time you choose is confirmed with the reservation.
Round-Trip Service
Round-Trip Service books both directions in one reservation: Bergamo Airport to your Monza hotel as your flight comes in, and the hotel back to BGY when you leave. The Autodromo hosts the Italian Grand Prix every September, and that is the time to secure the departure together with the arrival. You choose both pickup times, and your confirmation shows them.
Hourly Service
Hourly service keeps one chauffeur and one vehicle with you for a set number of hours. When you book, you set the start at BGY, the final address and the hours you need, and you add the day's plan to the reservation so the chauffeur has it before your flight lands. It suits an arrival day with appointments, not a straight run to one hotel.

Bergamo Airport to Monza: Route and Drive Time

Monza lies north-east of Milan, and from Orio al Serio the car heads west on the A4 and leaves the motorway before reaching the city of Milan. The trip is 45 km and normally takes 45 minutes to 1 hour.

The A4 between Bergamo and Milan is the part that decides the time: it is busy with commuters at the start and end of the working day, and a weekday arrival at 8:00 is slower than one at midday. The circuit, in the large park north of the town, is about the same distance from the terminal as the town centre, roughly 45 km.

Journey times vary with traffic and weather. Say in the booking whether the address is in town, at a company in Brianza or at the track; for the track, add the gate.

Meeting Your Chauffeur at Bergamo Airport

Arrivals at Bergamo all use the ground floor of one terminal, with passengers from Schengen and non-Schengen flights coming out into the same hall. For a race team, a sponsor's guests or a single visitor, the arrivals exit is the same.

For arrivals, the chauffeur tracks your flight and plans the pickup around the real landing time. Your booking confirmation tells you where to meet, and the exact spot follows the airport's own pickup rules. On a Grand Prix weekend, when many flights land close together, this keeps your car tied to your own plane.

Building work is adding check-in space to the terminal. The arrivals floor stays where it is, and nothing about the meeting changes for you.

Arriving in Monza: Town Centre or Circuit

Monza's historic centre is a ZTL divided into three areas, and each can only be entered through its own camera-monitored gates. Hotels and offices outside those areas are reached directly; for an address inside one, send the full address with the booking and we will tell you how close the car can go.

The circuit is a different address altogether. The Autodromo Nazionale lies within the walled Parco di Monza. Its gates include Porta Vedano, Porta Biassono, Porta Santa Maria alle Selve and Porta Villasanta, and they are far apart. Race tickets and hospitality passes usually name the gate, and that is the address to give.

Monza's railway station, on Via Caduti del Lavoro, can also be the drop-off if your day continues by train. Give the exact address when you book, and your confirmation shows where the car will pull up.

From Monza Back to Bergamo Airport

Leaving Monza, the useful thing to know is how long the road takes, not when to leave: 45 minutes to 1 hour to Orio al Serio, longer in heavy traffic. The pickup time you choose is confirmed with the reservation.

On a Monday morning after a race weekend, the A4 eastbound carries both commuters and departing spectators, so choose a pickup that allows for it. With one terminal building at BGY, the car pulls up at departures on the upper level.

A race day and a flight the same evening can be combined. After the race, the car can collect you as close to the park gate as race-day traffic rules allow and take you straight to the terminal; name the gate for the pickup.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know before booking your airport transfer with Bookinglane.

How far is Monza from Bergamo Airport?

45 km by road on the A4, usually 45 minutes to 1 hour. The Autodromo is about the same distance from the terminal as the town centre.

Is Bergamo Airport a good choice for the Monza Grand Prix?

If your flight lands there, yes: Monza is on the Bergamo side of Milan, so the drive from BGY is shorter than from Malpensa. Linate, 18 km away, is the nearest airport of the three.

Can the car drop us at our gate of the Parco di Monza?

Put the gate printed on your ticket or hospitality pass in the booking, and we will tell you the nearest point a car can reach on race days, both for the set-down and for the pickup after the race.

Where do I find my chauffeur at Bergamo Airport?

At the arrivals exit on the ground floor of the terminal. All flights, from inside or outside the Schengen area, come out there; your booking confirmation tells you where to meet.

Can the car enter Monza's historic centre?

Three ZTL areas cover Monza's old centre, each with its own camera gates. Add your full street address to the booking, and we will tell you whether the car can reach the entrance or where the nearest drop-off point is.

Our guests arrive at different Milan airports for the race. How do we book?

Each arrival is booked as its own transfer from its own airport, with the vehicle chosen for that flight. If you book for others, the whole programme can sit in one account, and each transfer is booked and confirmed separately.
