Düsseldorf Airport to Neuss: Route and Drive Time
Neuss lies on the left bank of the Rhine, and the airport is on the right bank, north of the state capital. The road distance is 16 km, usually 25–35 minutes by car, with the B7 carrying the traffic over the river. That bridge is the part of the route that sets the pace: outside the rush hours the drive stays near the lower figure.
Once across, the address shapes the final kilometres. The port, which Neuss runs together with its neighbour as the Neuss-Düsseldorfer Häfen, spreads along the river with its own rail sidings; the business parks sit at the edge of town; and the Rennbahnpark, a new city park on the former racecourse, lies close to the centre.
Journey times vary with traffic and weather. For a port or warehouse address, put the gate or the building in the booking along with the flight number.

Meeting Your Chauffeur at Düsseldorf Airport
The SkyTrain sets out the shape of the airport. This driverless shuttle covers 2.5 km between the ICE station at the east end of the airport grounds and the terminal: it calls at the P4/P5 car parks, then at Terminal A/B and Terminal C, in about seven minutes. All flights still use the one terminal building, so the booking needs no terminal.
For arrivals, the chauffeur tracks your flight and plans the pickup around the real landing time. Your booking confirmation tells you where to meet, and the exact spot follows the airport's own pickup rules.
Rail passengers can be collected here as well. If you reach the airport station on an ICE and continue to Neuss by road, add the train and its arrival time to the booking, and the car is scheduled for that arrival.

Arriving at Your Address in Neuss
Neuss, with about 157,000 residents, is a business town first. Toshiba, 3M and Yamaha run their German or European headquarters from the town, and the port, with rail links and six motorways close by, draws logistics firms and their clients. A visit may well mean an office building or a distribution centre rather than a hotel in the old centre.
Give the exact address when you book, and your confirmation shows where the car will pull up. On a business park, the company name and the building number avoid a search between similar halls.
The Rennbahnpark, 38 hectares of green space on the old racecourse, opened with the 2026 state garden show and stays as a city park. During the Schützenfest, when parades fill the centre, send the full address with the booking and we will tell you how close the car can go.

From Neuss Back to Düsseldorf Airport
The return crosses the Rhine again, so plan with the length of the drive: 25–35 minutes on an ordinary day, more when commuters crowd the bridge in the morning and late afternoon. You set the pickup time yourself, and the confirmation shows it.
The airport end is simple: there is one terminal, and the car takes you to it whichever pier your flight leaves from. Neuss is served by the S-Bahn lines S8 and S11, but long-distance trains stop at its station only irregularly, so a rail journey to the airport usually means a change in Düsseldorf.
On the Neuss side, the Schützenfest, held over four days as August turns into September, is the time to add margin, since streets in the centre close for the parades. A visitor leaving straight from a meeting at the port can be collected at the company gate instead of the hotel.
